Dr. Michael Musa Koroma has a divine and sacred calling. No service can be compared to the assistance that Dr. Michael Musa Koroma has been giving and will continue to give to the people of Mange Community and Rofeika village Marampa Chiefdom, Lunsar, Port Loko, District in Sierra Leone. He is a trusted father when heavy trials suddenly fall upon us, when adversity takes the place of prosperity; when friends dessert us, and when trouble thickens around us. We shall benefits from his initiatives, and empathy so that equality returns to our communities.
However, Dr. Michael Musa Koroma is complementing government flagship programs in education and good health center in Marampa Chiefdom, Lunsar to exercise restraint and great atmosphere in a bid to implement the Free Quality School Education and Health Center at community level. All are assured of the better development at the end of the tunnel under his supervision, as Chairman of the St. John of God Catholic Health and Social Services and the Provident, St. John of God Campus, Head of Nursing Department, University of Makeni, Mabesseneh Hospital, Lunsar. He was identified as a real humanitarian within the township he hailed.
We discovered that Mange Community Health Center was originally built with makeshift structures that link Mange Community Rofeika village and others.
Due to consistent and massive suffering in the community the hospital dilapidated beyond repairs, Dr. Michael Musa Koroma went on to lobby the St. John of God Mission to reconstruct the hospital and rehabilitate access roads to remote communities. Although, the Health clinic job is now about 80% completed. Inside source disclosed that children and pregnant women would stand to benefit hugely in the future and they are ensure to grab the facilities and uphold standard and integrity of their dream.
Outlining some of the development strides done within Marampa Chiefdom by Dr. Michael Musa Koroma he had succeeded in providing water wells, Milla water tanks, medical facilities, free medical trainings, Good Leadership, Gender equality, Mentorship to name but a few. Indigenes can recall that for almost two decades, Mange community, Rofeika village and others had been under siege with unbelievable suffering for good health center.
Speaking to Mariatu Turay, a beneficiary of Mange community health center, she extended her appreciations to Dr. Michael Musa Koroma for his immediate intervention to save the community and its environs with a better health center and qualified nurses.
“We are delighted for this wonderful work, Dr. Michael Musa Koroma is a man of his words, very friendly and caring, highly believe in humanity,” she said.
In another news, Dr. Michael Musa Koroma through the aid of St. John of God Mission constructed an outstanding six class rooms Primary school with affordable and decent teachers’ Quarters at Rofeika Village, Marampa Chiefdom. In terms of human Capital development, over 300 youth has gained employment as skilled and unskilled laborers in diverse projects within the communities and job facilities to the needy.
An exclusive interview with the Head Teacher of Marcos Nadal DEC primary school, Rofeika Village, Marampa Chiefdom, Mr. Abass Patrick Kamara has expressed gratitude towards the school development, because the genesee of the school was appalling by then. But, through the help of Dr. Michael Musa Koroma and St. John of God Mission, the school can now proud of well standard building couple with teachers quarters, spacious class rooms and good rest rooms for pupil’s.
“Our school is pain coded, and we believe in the recent development of our mentor, we trust in Dr. Michael Musa Koroma for his wisdom and innovation over the years. He would continue to support us, though, some of our teachers are yet on payroll. He explained.
According to Madam Zaniba Bangura, Teacher of Marcos Nadal DEC primary school Rofeika Village, she says she is facing unprecedented challenges because she is not on pain code. Adding that the workload is too tough, because teaching without a take-home is highly sad.
Meanwhile, Mohamed Sankoh, Senior Teacher of Marcos Nadal DEC primary school Rofeika Village, info that the facilities of the school are encouraging. But their condition of services must be improved.
“I have thought for ten years as class Six(6) teacher without pain code, though, the Free Quality School Education is making an impact here, we need more support from government. Eventhough, Dr. Michael Musa Koroma is doing his best to upkeep us.” He confirmed.
