The Wise Bird is so much respected by the people to the extent that, all important letters are sent to him on a daily basis.

After the Sierra Leone Teachers’ Union (SLTU) sent a letter to the brave bird, another letter was just being received from the former Leader and Flag-bearer, as he is now called.

The letter was dated 5th November 2024; and in the letter the bird noticed that, Dr. Samura first of all acknowledged the Secretary General’s letter dated 1^st November 2023 and according to the letter, it was a (wrong year).

In a strong worded letter, it told Dr. Samura that, the Secretary General of APC had not been able to address important issues, instead the letter focused solely on a request for keys to the office, meaning, per the letter, the issues are left un-attended.

Dr. Samura in his letter said APC will continue to be his DNA, and that, he remains a faithful son of the APC party.

He went further to accuse the NSG that, there was no discussion or agreement regarding the connection between his role as Leader in the Tripartite Committee and his tenure in office.

He continued in his letter that, APC will continue to be his DNA, and that, he remains a faithful son of the APC party.

The Wise Bird cannot catalog all in the letter, as the former Leader and Presidential Candidate for the 2023 election, as he is now called, who was much expedited in his letter.

He said in his letter that, he acknowledged the NSG’s instructions to return the keys to the office; this is likened to an eviction notice for a rented property.

But what beats the imagination of the bird was and still is, after the National Secretary General of the party had written a letter citing Section 47 (a)(iv) of the party’s Constitution, Dr. Samura in paragraph four (4) of his letter went on to say that, “HIS ELECTIVE POSITION OF FLAG-BEARER AND PRESIDENTIAL CANDIDATE 2023 REMAINS UNTIL THE LOGICAL CONCLUSION OF THE ONGOING FIGHT FOR ELECTORAL JUSTICE AND THE NEXT NATIONAL DELEGATE CONFERENCE”.

The most respected animal did not understand this and so he starts to wonder whether the APC Constitution makes provision for what Dr. Samura said in his letter about his position.

From the understanding of the wise bird, the letter from the National Secretary General of the APC party did not even go anywhere and has no weight from the look of things.

The question is, is Dr. Samura Kamara bigger than the APC party for him to send a challenge by way of trying to continue to divide the party.

The Wise Bird is not a member of any of the political parties, and so he has no voting right. Only that, the bird always wants peace and unity in all the political parties in the interest of the country, be it SLPP, PDP, APC, UDM, NGC, PMDC you name them.

The bird as usual went out to get the views of people on the issue; almost all the people the bird contacted expressed dismay over Dr. Samura’s attitude as he did not keep to what he said that, and that he is a faithful son of the APC, a faithful son cannot challenge his father.

Up to the time of writing this letter, Dr. Samura considered himself as Flag-bearer and Presidential Candidate for the APC 2023 election.

Meaning, the fight in the APC continues unabated according to the last edition of the PARROT. “Dr. Samura ‘don tawa’ pa APC”.
