Twenty-one-years-old Ibrahim Renner alias Alkaline, an electrician, has made his first appearance before Magistrate Santigie Bangura of Pademba road court No.2 in Freetown.
He stood on a count of Larceny contrary to section 2 of the Larceny Act 1916.
According to the particulars of offence on Tuesday 2nd July 2024 at #56 Bye Pass Road Kissy in Freetown the accused stole one Samsung galaxy S24 ultra mobile, one mini Ipad, two Ipad pro6th generation which is a 2024 model.
All the items total sum of one hundred and thirty nine thousand one hundred and eight Leones(139,108) property of Ibrahim Leigh.
When the charge was read and explained to the accused person, he pleaded guilty.
The prosecutor Assistant Superintendent of police Isatu Baba Musa told the bench that there were no available records against the accused person.
Whilst the accused was not legally represented, he pleaded with the bench to temper justice with mercy on his behalf.
Due to the plea mitigation by the accused person, Magistrate Bangura sentenced him to four years and six months to the male correctional facility in Freetown.
