The ex- Queens Park Rangers (QPR)’s striker Hamzad Kargbo, has secured a successful trial and he is join a new team.
Kargbo, a 6’4″ centre forward, is the Exiles’ 13th summer recruit. English League Two side Newport County are beefing up their team for the upcoming season.
The 22 years-old Sierra Leonean international was on trial with Newport.
For many seasons, he has been playing friendly matches against Pontypridd United, Kidderminster Harriers, Bristol Rovers, and Hereford.
He has said that it’s never easy coming in as a trialist, but he felt welcomed right away and is looking forward to working hard throughout the pre-season to show what he could bring to the squad.
Meanwhile, Kargbo has been with QPR since 12 years old and has been a regular comer in the Rangers’ under-23 during the last two seasons but with lot of challenges with loan offers playing in different clubs in Europe.
