For involving into gay activities, Police Declares Ibrahim Mansaray wanted
As Western Region’s election Chairman of the Sierra Leone People’s Party (SLPP) approaches which is slated on April 15, Hon. Manso Dumbuya has reiterated his commitment to promoting the party’s philosophy and vision for a better Sierra Leone.
He is ready to doing that under the leadership of His Excellency the president, Julius Maada Bio.
In a recent interview at Uncle Sankara media platform, Dumbuya took the opportunity to address not only Chief Hindolo Moseray, who is also vying for the same position, but also the party’s loyal supporters.
Hon. Dumbuya’s message was clear that is a loyalty to the party which must be demonstrated through actionable commitments.
He highlighted the importance of consistent financial contributions to the party, thus emphasizing that every member must “put their mouth where their money goes.”
In his view, true dedication to the SLPP involves supporting its activities and initiatives, rather than merely seeking personal gain from the party’s success.
During the interview, Dumbuya specifically advised Moseray to settle his outstanding dues to the party—approximately 48 months of unpaid contributions over the last four years.
He described this as a “gross wickedness,” pointing out that one cannot claim to love the SLPP while failing to support its financial health.
Dumbuya’s insistence on this point underscores the principle of accountability and responsibility that he believes is essential for any serious contender for leadership within the party.
Dumbuya is regarded as a living legend among SLPP’s active members, and has been instrumental in strategizing the party’s successes in the Western Region.
He urged all SLPP members, including Moseray and all party loyalists to honour their financial obligations as a demonstration of their commitments and dedication to the party’s mission.
“You cannot reap where you have not sown,” he said while reinforcing the idea that true respect and loyalty is shown through consistent support.
As the election draws near, Dumbuya has called on supporters to rally behind him for a continuity and stability in the party’s leadership in governance.
He urged Chief Moseray to consider stepping aside doing that as a sign of respect for the long-standing contributions of party’s heroes like him. Dumbuya’s campaign is not just about maintaining his position; it is also a call for unity and strategic vision within the party.
“We must remember that our strength lies on our collective effort and shared goal,” said Hon. Dumbuya during a recent rally.
He emphasized the importance of a cohesive approach as the party faces their upcoming elections, arguing that continuity in leadership would ensure that the party could build on its past successes rather than starting from scratch.
