The All People’s Congress (APC) party Secretary General, Lawyer Lansana Dumbuya has told the people of Masumbgala Chiefdom that the APC is well prepared to take over the mantle of leadership in the country.
“The APC will not tolerate any nonsense in 2028 elections,” he stressed, claiming that they won the 2023 presidential election but was stolen from them. He emphasized that 2028 will be a different thing because they will not allow history to repeat itself.
The APC scribe made the submission on Friday 20th June 2025 during the handing over of the health clinic constructed by Hon. AKK at the Rokrima Bana village in Masumgbala Chiefdom.
According to Mr. Dumbuya the people of Kambia were very supportive of the wining of the 2023 election which he claimed was stolen from the APC while calling on them to actively take part in upcoming Census and support the APC for victory.in 2018.
He also claimed that the APC has never lost elections in Sierra Leone because the people know the party for development and care for their lives.
He also called on the APC intending flagbearers to sensitize the public on the Census and the need for all to be counted.
Dumbuya emphasized on the need for people to send provocative and divisive messages that will tend to divide the party.
“As executive, we believe all what the social media are propagating to the public for sellout is a false claim,” he stated proudly, insisting that the current APC executive will never sellout to the SLPP,” he told the crowd.
He told the Kambia people that this time around any leader or flagbearer that the APC elect will lead from the front, not from the back.
Making his submissions, the Hon Chief Whip of the opposition, Hon. Abdul Karim Kamara (AKK) also buttressed on the APC readiness of their party to clinch power in 2028.
“We will not fight for power this time. We’re going for the power. Anyone who attempts to stand before us will have his or her self to blame,” he stated.
He also called for unity and readiness for the race.
