2028 is too far away for Sierra Leoneans in the diaspora and their counterparts home to begin the same rhetoric over the years that are said continously by the Main Opposition All People’s Congress Party (APC) members and their rival the Sierra Leone People’s Party (SLPP).

As Edwin Macauley, political scientist at the University of Vancouver puts it, “Its no political rivalry but political infections fever” it saturates from words, actions but always the vice-vice. He said before and after of all forms of challenges from the APC directed at the SLPP, we learnt from experience that SLPP was satisfied with constitutional support, but the APC classified the judiciary a place where it will never get favors because accordingly they say APC jumped the rules. For Edwin, that which has been legitimated as the will of the people from numerical indicators could not be compared to uncertain moves on the contrary.

Edwin says in polities, don’t neglect your rivals initiatives, they must have had many focus. He says only with comprehensiveness can opposition parties have hopes in the combat, he says a smooth running opponent making use of any issue and event created by the opponent and digest a positive counter position. That is the real form of respect for the laws and leadership with the spirit of victory. He said the APC by all indications is desperate for power and the SLPP is comfortable with releasing its progress for public knowledge. He says between the APC and SLPP, the dynamics are much more than what you see for your eyes.
