Alhaji Welbeck Kamara, Captain for Leone Stars, playing for Randers FC in the Danish Super League and colleagues are set to score spectacular classic goals for the team when they take on the Egyptian side as they previously did to the Cote’ d Ivoire in Cameroon during the last African Cup of Nations.
The national team is preparing with intensity to host and knock out the Pharaoh’s of Egypt on Sunday 19, November 2023 in the World Championship qualifying first stage in Monrovia, Liberia. Sierra Leone is hosting the game in Liberia due to the ongoing rehabilitation on the Siaka Stevens Stadium.
In an interview with one of Sierra Leone’s top strikers Welbeck, he proudly says: “We are going in high spirit for a victory. We are highly motivated and committed as a team and we are going to give our best for our darling Leone Stars to take all the three points. All what we need now is support from our people especially when we are playing the game on neutral ground,” he whispered.
