A bridge on Dom-Thoo river at Mamanso Town in Tonkolili District seriously needs repairs.
The community is a popular one in the district in Konike Fula Wusu chiefdom in Tonkolili District, north of Sierra Leone.
Years back, business used to flourish in this part of the country with many young people having farms which helped them to earn a living and their family members.
Life was a clan-oriented as the town is chieftaincy ruling class.
Mamanso has supposedly produced many productive individuals as graduates with many having the opportunity to have served in successive governments offices as public servants while a good number of these indigenes may have been staying up in overseas for years without coming back to Sierra Leone and to their home town.
However, it is time to give back to the town which is ignored completely by government, NGOs, etc. The people may also need government of Sierra Leone to speedily come to their aid to restore their bridge back.
The Dom-Thoo River links up Mamanso Fula-Wusu and Masingbi.
The photo on this story was taken by a bike rider who himself including other riders are being affected by the very bad bridge which economically, socially and culturally connects Mamanso and Masingbi Town, which falls under Konike Sande chiefdom.
