Twenty-nine years old Alhaji  Kamara, a fisher man has been sentenced to twenty five years imprisonment to the male correctional facility in Freetown by Justice Adrian Fisher of high court No.1 at Siaka Steven Street Freetown the accused is standing trial on a count charge of Sexual penetration contrary to section 19 of the Sexual offences Act 2012, Act No.12 of 2012, as repealed and replaced by Section 4 (a) (ii) of the Sexual offences Amendment Act 2019, Act No.8 of 2019.

According to the particulars of offence on a date between 1st to 31st January 2024 in Freetown engaged in Act of Sexual penetration with a child below 18

The victim was led in evidence by Musa Pious Sesay Jr. Esq According to her she was at home sick when the accused met her and gave her drugs suspected to be Tramadol she drunk the drugs and she become unconscious and there the accused fuck her inside her mother bedroom the victim said she did not explain it to anyone her mother came to know when she examined her vagina and she discovered that she have been Virginated.

She asked her who Virginated her she told her that it was the accused person the victim said she did not recall the date and time but it was in January 2024, she concluded.

Counsel representing the accused person Randy Bangura Esq pleaded for mercy on behalf of the accused person

Justice Adrian Fisher sentenced the accused person to Twenty-five years imprisonment to the male correctional facility in Freetown.
