The Chief Whip of the All People’s Congress (APC) party in the House of Parliament, representing Kambia district, Hon Abdul Karim Kamara, has called on the newly appointed and approved Deputy Minister Information and Civil Education (MoICE) Abdul Aziz Bawaoh to address the information gap between the general public and government relating to new media and cyber law.
Hon. Kamara encouraged MoICE to be robust in educating Sierra Leoneans on the new cyber law sensitive matters, adding that if the government can’t give correct and accurate information to the general public, they will give their own interpretation on most sensitive issues in the country.
