Musa Noah Kamara, popularly known as Musa Tombo, has been sidelined for the Leone Stars’ back-to-back critical double-legged ties against Ivory Coast.
A report says that Kamara attended the national team’s training session last Monday after a week-long absence.
According to the Head Coach Amidu Karim, the forward expressed concerns about his current fitness level.
Kamara candidly shared that he does not feel physically ready to travel with the team at this stage. He emphasized the need for more recovery time before he can fully match the intensity of his teammates, who have been rigorously preparing for the upcoming fixtures.
The Leone Stars are scheduled to face Ivory Coast in Abidjan on October 11th for the first leg, followed by a home game against Liberia on October 15th.
