A number of Sierra Leoneans are in deep worries over government proposed tax increments on the staple rice, and on other businesses.
A resident and a business man in Waterloo Town, named Mr Abdul, told colleague business men that he is now worrying on how government taxes may affect businesses including his.
“I am thinking of early Next Year when added taxes by government may affect us a lot.
“It is not good for a country to be seeing taxes added almost every year,” he said.
Earlier, government of Sierra Leone had passed a new finance bill, announcing new additional percentages on taxable goods.
