As the ruling Sierra Leone People’s Party gears towards a critical moment of electing their national executives, the Clerk of Parliament, Hon. Paran Tarawally has opted for the enviable position of national secretary general.

He has therefore appealed to faithful members of their great SLPP party to cast their vote for him.

Hon. Paran Umar Tarawally has a proven track record of being a leader of repute with an unwavering commitment to the SLPP and the people of Sierra Leone in general which always speaks volume.

As a Member of Parliament for Bo District from 2012–2017 and currently serving as the Clerk of Parliament, he has consistently demonstrated outstanding leadership, governance, and dedication to delivering on behalf of his constituents.

During SLPP’s years in opposition, Hon. Tarawally was a pharaoh of resilience.

He stood firm against then APC government, refusing to compromise the values and principles of the SLPP.

His courage and steadfastness made him the voice of the voiceless at a time when the SLPP needed it most.

Electing Hon. Paran Umar Tarawally as the next National Secretary General means, the party has been entrusted with a future leader who is ready to build upon the achievements of the outgoing Secretary General. Paran’s vision for unity, progress, and grassroots empowerment will ensure the SLPP remains strong, cohesive, and prepared for the challenges ahead.

The party grassroots have urged members to stand together and vote for a leader who has the experience, integrity, and passion to take the SLPP to even greater heights.

Many supporters of the SLPP have described Hon. Paran Umar Tarawally as the right choice for the National Secretary General position and pleaded to all to give him the opportunity to serve and lead their glorious party to remain in power.
