The Sierra Leone People’s Party’s (SLPP) leadership is opening a space for new narratives in the politics of the Party, which might be the symptom of disunity and become the party’s greatest fear. The SLPP Party should not alienate its natural grassroots supporters through factionalism; otherwise, it will put the Party in turmoil and confusion.
The Sierra Leone People’s Party (SLPP) needs to rediscover Unity and political stability in the Party. With what is unfolding in the Party’s race to continuity, it seems the Party is on its path to total self-destruction.
The race to the SLPP leadership contest is a tale of two factional blocs dictating the pace within the mainstream establishment of the Sierra Leone People’s Party (SLPP). With appalling Paroxysms of the factional blocks, the patriotic, hopeful and progressive politicians in the SLPP should rise up against the decaying syndromes of the current establishment.
The Paopanism and the JMBism are on the verge of putting the SLPP Party into an irreversible spiral of decline, and these factions are the acolytes and enemy within the Party, which are the cause of disunity and political crisis as mere symptoms of cracks and Crevices within the Party.
The factional blocks of Paopanism and JMBism have drained the SLPP Party of all competencies and Substance, and serve as the origin of the crisis in the Party. The grassroots supporters are the bread and butter of the Party’s Cultural narratives, and they have been the shining literary light of the SLPP Party. So why should they be marginalized and dumped?
The big question now is, why is the silent majority maintained in the SLPP Party? Is it a new Political myth or fear of the authority above? As things unfold in the Party, who will cast him or herself to be the saviour of the Party from the nightmare of Collapse under the pressure of factional authoritarianism?
The SLPP, which stands for “One Country, One People”, is quite different from now. The Sierra Leone People’s Party (SLPP) was not bound by any ties or links to factional belonging, Class, or Creed that is gaining ground in the Party as a grim vision of a future foretold.
Re-election fear in the SLPP Party is now in its wailing pitch of moral panic and hysteria, which is a discernible fact of Projection. The factional divide in the Sierra Leone People’s Party seems to be the toxic means to disunite the Party into “Us and them” with mistrust and loathing.
The majority political silence by the membership of the SLPP Party seems to be a fruitless reticence and is perceived as an immense weakness of the entire membership of the Sierra Leone People’s Party.
The factional crisis in the SLPP Party is going to be a marathon, not a sprint, and if not aborted, the propensity will be a political boomerang which will result in a total backlash. Let’s keep the SLPP United again as the race to the State House is numbered.
For the sake of Unity, can the SLPP Party drop the ongoing nonsense that is at the bleeding edge of the Party? The SLPP Party belongs to the people of Sierra Leone and will never, ever belong to any individual, which should be an acknowledged fact to all patriotic Sierra Leoneans.
President Rtd. Brigadier Julius Maada Bio should unify the party before the national Party Convention, as he has been seen as the Titanic leader of the SLPP Party. He should pilot the factional winds he has unleashed in the Party. The SLPP Party is currently strangled by a bureaucratic knot that has tightened around the neck of its politicians, who are struggling with fear.
The Sierra Leone People’s Party needs a total change, a Change that will move the Party into a new direction. A Change that looks at things to create a wholly new attitude of positive minds and ideas. As a Progressive Party, we don’t need an establishment that is chivying us or depriving us.
Is the ruling order of factionalism in the SLPP Party merely a sign of disorientation with no means to unify the Party? The inability of the leadership to stop the factional blocks in the Party is fuelling the crisis in the Party. Indeed the SLPP Party today is obsessively focused on unrealistic happenings.
Is President Bio ready to wake up to the reality of his Party? As tension simmers in the Party, the Supporters watch on as their support for their Party is fundamentally shifting in contrast to their firm support that is leading the Party into a factional abyss that is bubbling within.
The Unity of the Party has been the strength of the SLPP, so for any factions to weaken the party is a total bullying and unraveling of the Unity of the Sierra Leone People’s Party (SLPP).
Majority Silence and inaction within the SLPP Party are not neutral or Consent, but are choices that perpetuate vengeance and suffering in the Sierra Leone People’s Party, and the grassroots Supporters can no longer endure the nightmare in Silence in the SLPP Party. Is there any awaiting solution?
Losing power is the greatest fear of the ruling Sierra Leone People’s Party (SLPP), so what is the solution then? It remains to be seen if Unity is the anathema to the Party’s victory or if a new future will be made possible in the SLPP Party Come 2028.
!!LONG LIVE THE PEOPLE OF SIERRA LEONE
!! GOD BLESS US ALL
