Say what you may, the Parrot always has answers to certain vital political issues in this republic because he has followed politics for a very long time.

After a very good and careful study of what is going on especially in the opposition All People’s Congress (APC) party in respect of the position of flag-bearer, the wise bird came to the realization that it is very clear that whosoever happens to emerge as winner at their 2026 Delegates Convention will automatically be elected president of Sierra Leone come 2028.

The reason being, the people have vividly seen that the Sierra Leone People’s Party (SLPP) have failed them and are now looking for an alternative either with the APC or any other political party, insisting that all what they want is positive change that will reflect on every citizen.

Considering the fact that the SLPP has failed the people in totality, the opposition political parties including the APC, PDP, PMDC, RUFP, UDM and others want to use that failure as an advantage to boot them out, which is why there is a mad rush for the flag bearer position especially in APC.

APC supporters believe that even if a rat happens to become victorious in their convention it will automatically be the next president that is more the reason executive members are resigning their respective top positions in the party to contest for the flag-bearer.

The number of aspirants particularly for the APC flag bearer has unimaginably keeps growing on a daily basis.

As usual, the wise bird always contacts people to get their views on sensitive issues more so (a) to get a balance report, (b) that people might not accuse him of being bias and most importantly to maintain his credibility.

All those he met on the issue of this crazy rush for the APC flag bearer expressed similar sentiments just as those of the bird, they even went further to say that the party have a lot of work to do if they sincerely want win the 2028 elections, admitting that at the moment, there are cracks in the party which has led to disunity among the membership.

Even though the bird is not a member of any political, he has always drawn the attention of these parties if he observes things are going wrong, especially the one that has the tendency to affect everybody of the nation in general.

Therefore, Bra Parrot is advising members of all the political parties that time is not in their favour and should try to put their respective houses in order before the sun goes down.
