Foday Barbie Yansaneh, a native of Gbanty Wallah Lokomasama Chiefdom Port Loko District, a bisexual and also a member of the opposition All People’s Congress (APC) party life is in turmoil after he and gay partner Musa Kamara were found having romantic affairs.
It all happened on 7th September, 2024 after they have had some leisure time at Bureh Beach in the rural outskirts of the capital Freetown. Sources say they continued their rendezvous at Musa Kamara’s abode at Alusine Street, Calaba Town in Freetown.
According to reports, the gay and bisexual partners were playing loud music and having sex (romantic affairs), unfortunately the room door was not locked; when a neighbor bumped into them naked having seductive affairs.
Report further added that it was this neighbor that shouted in a loud voice which drew the attention of others.
The alarm attracted large crowd of community people who descended on them with rage, as they brought in armful weapons in order to vent their anger on them.
The crowd were chanting “oh Musa and his friend are homo sexual (LGBT) so they deserved to die or sent to prison”. According to them Foday Barbie Yansaneh and Musa Kamara have the potential to indoctrinate young ones to follow their bad footsteps.
Sources revealed to this medium that, Foday Barbie Yansaneh and Musa Kamara were mercilessly beaten with all sorts of armful weapons including sticks and stones.
Credible report gathered by this medium revealed that Foday Barbie Yansaneh was hit by one of the youth on his right hand and bled profusely as his penis; nostril and mouth were oozing with blood.
It was disclosed that the mob later on focused their attention on Musa, as Foday Barbie Yansaneh laid helplessly. However, since the mob were paying attention on Musa sources say Foday Barbie Yansaneh cunningly escaped through a nearby gutter as night had already fallen on them.
Following Foday Barbie Yansaneh’s disappearance on that fateful night his whereabouts remain unknown.
This medium can confirm that there is a desperate search for Foday Barbie Yansaneh and the Sierra Leone Police have also declared him a wanted person.
In Sierra Leone same sex relationship is considered as a taboo, and those that have been found wanting have faced long sentences with hard labor. Others that were unfortunately captured by irate youths have been lynched to death.
