In a compelling address delivered at a town hall meeting on Saturday, October 5, 2024, Hon. Paul Samba Conteh, the representative of a constituency at Bombali District under the All People’s Congress (APC), urged residents of Biriwa Chiefdom to be united in the face of recent concerns regarding potential roar in their community.
The meeting was convened by concerned locals following reports advising that certain set of people were seeking an illegitimacy of the chiefdom, which has raised fears of division among the various tribes within the region.
Hon. Paul emphasized the longstanding harmony that has existed among the tribes in Biriwa Chiefdom, highlighting a rich history of intermarriage and collaboration that has fostered a sense of unity.
“For generations, we have lived together as one community, embracing our diverse cultures and traditions,” he stated.
“Now, more than ever, we must come together to protect the bonds that hold us as one people.”
