The Wise Bird had said it when the Tripartite Committee was set-up.

That it was just a mere waste of time, money and energy and also a tactic to buy time for the sitting government.

The question the Wise Bird would like to ask is; does any part(s) of the tripartite recommendations reflect the will of the people?

In all of the recommendations, recommendation 80 beats the imagination of the people including the Wise Bird, it reads: that the final report be tabled in cabinet and that, the cabinet develops a cabinet paper to guide government of Sierra Leone for implementation.

Recommendation 80 is one of the recommendations which, anybody in his/her right frame of mind, will not take seriously, to say cabinet to develop a cabinet paper, will cabinet develop a cabinet paper at the detriment of the government?

By the way you don’t bite the finger that feeds you.

In the first place, a special committee should   be set up to present the recommendations, before reaching the President, because the President was and is still part of the problem in the last election.

The Wise Bird, as usual, went out to get the views of the people in respect of the recommendations of the Tripartite Committee.

The bird never knew the amount of anger in the people; he was molested by the people he met. If not with the help of God, the bird would have been a dead bird by now.

Most of the people the bird met treated the bird as enemy; it was as if the Wise Bird was one of the commissioners that had prepared the report.

The bird did not complete the interview because of insults, and the threatening remarks meted on to the bird.

However, some of the people were very courageous to have spoken to the bird in a very comfortable manner, but even at that, the bird was not comfortable.

What came out clearly in the interview of the Wise Bird was that, people are not happy with the recommendations.

One man who spoke to the bird in very peaceful way said, the Tripartite Committee was just a waste of time, money and energy and the recommendations are far from reflecting the will of the people.
