A lot has been said about the unnecessary noise made by lawless traders in the capital, Freetown, using megaphones and loudspeakers to advertise their goods, thereby creating discomfort for peaceful citizens including worshippers.

Information reaching the wise bird states that the no nonsense Mayor of Makeni City, Abubakarr Kamara and other authorities in the city have issued a very strong warning to all those using loudspeakers and megaphones in public places to stop forthwith or face the full force of the law.

According to the report, the Mayor has said the excessive noise in the township has been a very serious concern to residents, hospitals, Mosques, Churches and residential areas.

The ban, according to the report, aims to restore a peaceful atmosphere across the municipality and also to respect the wish of the people that have raised concerns on the issue of the unnecessary noise pollution in the City.

The Mayor further disclosed that the law will be properly enforced by City Council police officers to the letter with close monitoring of the situation, given the seriousness it deserves.

Furthermore, the report stressed that the move is not against business people but to maintain law and order, public health and a serene city environment.

The report furthered that, about 85% of the people in the township are in full support of the Mayor’s action.

The bird as usual, went out to get the views of sober minded people, and all those he came in contact expressed satisfaction over the action and described it as a move in the right direction.

Meanwhile, people in the capital, Freetown have described their own Mayor Aki-Sawyarr as incompetent, considering the fact that she has been unable to handle the affairs of the City.

The most ridiculous thing about her is that, even though she is well aware that she cannot handle the city’s affairs which is just a small portion with less than two million populations is now aiming at high position to become flag-bearer of the APC and to rule Sierra Leone if given the opportunity. What a big joke!

The people said that, this is the biggest joke on planet earth for someone who cannot handle a Council to handle a City.

Upon hearing such, the bird flapped its wings and flew away in laughter.
