The Kono District Football Association (KDFA) has issued a strict 21-day ultimatum notice to those involved in the construction taking place outside the premises.

According to KDFA management, all items are to be removed within the stipulated period, stressing the importance of preserving the field for future generations.

Meanwhile, KDFA has underscored the momentous role the football field has played in nurturing local football talent over the years, serving as a cornerstone for youth development in the district.

The Association is calling for full cooperation from all parties involved in the construction to ensure the restoration of the field’s original purpose. The aim is to revitalize the space as a central hub for community engagement and the promotion of youth sports.

However, KDFA is hopeful that this initiative will pave the way for a renewed focus on supporting grassroots football and fostering a sense of unity within the community.
