#AgriCodeExpo Africa is a visionary initiative designed to transform agriculture landscape across the African continent by empowering the next generation of farmers, innovators, and leaders in Africa and beyond.
Recognizing that agriculture is not just the backbone of Africa’s economy but it is also a vital key to addressing issues such as food security, unemployment, and sustainable development, Agricodeexpo Africa seeks to reignite the passion for farming and land stewardship among Africa’s youth.
The challenge over the years in agriculture is that African youth have steadily drifted away from farming, viewing it as an unprofitable or outdated career path to engage in.
And so many have instead drawn to urban areas in search of employment, thereby leaving out a widening gap in the agricultural workforce in their respective countries.
Despite this gab, agriculture remains one of Africa’s most critical sectors, thus providing livelihoods for millions as it holds the potential to transform economics of countries but if only it is modernized and is approached with innovation.
