Ibrahim Suma who is an apprentice of a vehicle has made another appearance before magistrate Santigie Bangura of Pademba Road Court No.2 in Freetown.
He was to defend himself on two count charges to have committed a larceny crime.
According to the particulars of offence, it said on Sunday 1st September 2024 at Queen Elizabeth II Quay in Freetown, being a servant employed by Zak Building materials, the apprentice of a vehicle did steal eight hundred and ten bags of imported cement valued one hundred and fifty five Leones all to the total value of one hundred and twenty five thousand five hundred and fifty Leones(125,550,00).
These items are property of the owner of Zak Building materials enterprise.
When the charge was read and explained to him accused person, he pleaded not guilty.
The prosecutor Detective Police Constable Thoronka K.K informed the Bench that his witness was absent in court.
Counsel representing the accused person Samuel L. Lewis renewed his previous bail applications on behalf of the accused person. Magistrate Bangura, however have granted bail to the accused person in the sum of one hundred and thirty thousand Leones with two sureties in like sum. The sureties must be residents in Freetown and must be responsible citizens.
The matter on this case was adjourned until 21st November 2024.
