Twenty-six-years-old, Mohamed Foday Kallon, a bike rider and thirty-one-years-old, Osman Kamara, a labourer, have all made their first appearance before Magistrate Sahr Kekura of Pademba road court No.1 in Freetown.
They stood on two count charges to contrary to law.
They are being accused for breaking a house, probably to steal there, which amounts to a serious crime in Sierra Leone.
According to the particulars of offence on Friday 23rd November 2024 at No.16th Ferry Road off Aberdeen the western area in Freetown, they two suspecta conspired with other persons unknown to commit a felony to wit house breaking and larceny.
Count two further stated that on the same date and place the first accused person with intent to steal break and entered into the dwelling house of Mbalu Bangura and stole therein the sum of eighteen thousand Leones(18,000) Property of Mbalu Bangura.
When the charges were read and explained to the accused persons no plea taken.
The prosecutor Assistant Superintendent of police Sorie Ibrahim S Mansaray sought for a short adjournment date because his witness was absent in court.
Meanwhile Magistrate Kekura refused bail and sent the accused persons to the Male Correctional facility in Freetown based on the seriousness of the offences charged matter adjourned to the 23rd December 2024.
