The Artifical Mini Stadium in Port Loko is presently undergoing a face-lift as preparation are underway for the forthcoming 2024/25 league season in the country, which is set to commence on December 20th 2024.
This facility is part of a number of sports venues that often receive enhancements every season, including the addition of artificial turf and fans viewing rates.
With a seating capacity of 2,000, the stadium is conveniently located in Port Loko town, north-west of Sierra Leone, making it the closest major sports venue to the capital, Freetown.
The stadium was chosen as the original venue for a vital league final 2024 FA Cup, featuring Bo Rangers and East End Lions.
However, that match was disrupted by violence shortly before halftime.
