Ahead of the long awaited Olympics Games in Paris France 2024 season, Joshua Wyse and Olamiday Sam from Sierra Leone Aquatics have qualified for this year’s Paris 2024 Olympic Competitions as announced by Africa Aquatics.
Equally, the two Sierra Leonean individuals will be representatives at the event, which will run from July 26 to August 11, 2024, with potential for additional athletes through a wild card entry.
This marks the second successive Olympic Games for Sierra Leone Aquatics, with Wyse competing in his second consecutive Olympics.
Both swimmers credited their success to focus, determination, and support from their executive team, particularly President Mohamed Turay.
However, Paris 2024 will be a notable landmark, featuring an Opening Ceremony along the Seine River.
Wyse and Sam will join over thousand athletes in this 17-day event, embodying global flexibility and unity.
