What is more disturbing sources revealed is that, Abdul’s father was also very furious with his daughter, Angela because she change her religion and converted from Muslim to Christianity which he considered forbidden.
Along with allegation of Abdul Rahim having been in touch with his sister, Angela was also accused of engaging in a same sex relationship which made matters worse between father and daughter.

According to sources close to the family, Mr. Tunde Rahim disowned his daughter Angela Rahim after his plans to have her initiated into the Female Genital mutilation (FGM) was foiled when Angela with the assistance of her mother who is now deceased ran away from home.
Sources added that Angela’s father wanted his daughter to get married at the tender age of 16 but according to tradition she would have to be initiated first in the Bondo society.
Female Genital Mutilation (FGM) is widely regarded by the World Health Organization as harmful traditional practices which are also attributed as a human rights violation.
