The former Leone Stars team Manager, Christian Dauda, has been appointed as the Sierra Leone Football Association SLFA, Men’s Ambassador for the upcoming World Cup 2026 campaign. According to SLFA press notice, the specific responsibility of Mr. Dauda is to establish, maintain and manage close ties between the country and Sierra Leone players abroad to ultimately respect their ancestral home.

But some football pundits within the system have expressed strong dismay toward the recent development with regards the appointment of the Christian Dauda.

Meanwhile, inside source has disclosed to A24 sport that majority of SLFA appointments are unmerited, though football lovers are desperately seeking for victory.
