The Leone Stars foreign based players secured a 3-1 victory over a selected team of home based players from the Leone Rock Premier League in a friendly match held on Thursday at the Approved School Field in Freetown.
Musa Kamara was the standout performer for the Leone Stars, netting an impressive brace. Mohamed Kamara added a third goal to seal the win for Coach Mohamed Kallon’s side.
The match served as a crucial preparatory fixture for the Leone Stars, allowing Coach Kallon to assess his squad and experiment with tactical approaches ahead of the decisive 2026 World Cup Qualifiers scheduled for September.
