Bra Parrot decided to spend its U.P.A leave in Moyamba, southern province of Sierra Leone to get more views from the people in that part of the country.

Early in the morning, Bra Parrot flew from the hotel and perched on top of a house adjacent to the hospital and took a view of the entire area of the hospital.

Bra Parrot, who is very well informed, was of the conviction that the people of Moyamba are still suffering from both medical supplies and food to eat.

Bra Parrot overheard some people saying the nurses are very much demanding in terms of asking for money before treating patients.

The brave bird was able to talk to one of the nurses who unknowingly did not know that she was talking to Bra Parrot said sometimes, the Doctors do not go to ward because of poor condition of the hospital.

The nurse went further to say that,   the hospital at times is run without electricity for days because of fuel, and necessary things that supposed to be in the hospital are not available for the smooth running of the hospital and,  as a result, the working environment is not conducive.

In terms of posting, most of the nurses refused to show up when they are posted to the Moyamba hospital.

The brave bird tried to get the name of the Doctor in charge of the hospital but to no avail as if the people knew they were talking to the brave Bra Parrot.

At the time when Bra Parrot was at the hospital no Doctor was found at all, the brave bird only noticed the presence of three nurses on duty. The beds are not enough in the hospital and food for patients is nothing to write home about.

One of the patients the brave bird spoke to said the President only cares about free education and does not care about the health of the people.

Bra Parrot returned to the hotel sadly after hearing all the problems facing the hospital.
