The Africa 24 Communications Newspaper is an Independent Newspaper that is non-partisan, non-political and non-sectional. The fundamental principles of the Africa 24 Communications Newspaper is to uphold accurate, correct, balance, impartial and credible information as the cardinal rule of any media is to inform, educate and entertain.
Africa 24 Communications Newspaper also stands to promote good governance, democracy through expressions of free speech with strict adherence to the rule of Law that is enshrined in the Constitution of Sierra Leone and the Independent Media Commission (IMC) Code of Conduct and Practices.
Africa 24 Communications Newspaper will strive very hard to ensure a balanced and objective news coverage as it is also open to all shades of political opinions, views and facts.
Africa 24 Communications Newspaper stands for the protections of fundamental freedoms in accordance with National Legislations and International Agreements, including Article 19 of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights as well as Article 9 of the African Charter on Human and Peoples’ Rights.
Africa 24 Communications Newspaper will also monitor the areas of transparency and accountability in Public/ National Offices, curb corruption, guarantee vertical and horizontal flow of information and of course build Citizens’ Trust in Public Service Delivery.
Africa 24 Communications Newspaper is very much mindful of the Independent Media Commission (IMC) Code of Practice. Our watch word is to promote development and business journalism.
