Twenty-first year old Dennis Fofanah a student made another appearance before Magistrate John Manso Fornah of Pademba Road Court No.2 in Freetown on a count charge to wit house breaking and larceny contrary to section 26 (1) of the Larceny Act of 1916.
According to the particulars of offence, on Friday 12th September 2025 at #15 George Brook, Dwarzark in the western area of Freetown broke and entered into the dwelling house of James Tommy Beah and stole therein one apple Air pod valued two thousand four hundred leones and physical cash of fifteen thousand leones all to the total value of seventeen thousand nine hundred (17,900) property of James Tommy Beah
When the charge was read and explained to the defendant, no plea was taken.
The Prosecutor Detective Police Constable Thoronka K.K sought for a short adjournment date to lead his witness.
Counsel representing the defendant renewed and adopted his previous bail applications on behalf of the defendant.
Meanwhile, Magistrate Fornah granted bail to the defendant in the sum of twenty thousand leones with one surety in like sum, surety must be a resident in Freetown to produce valid identity card depicting his or her address in Freetown and bail to be approved by the Deputy Assistant Registrar and matter adjourned to 27th October 2025.
