The wise bird has been following the Sam-Sumana’s long lasting case with keen interest at every tick of the clock to be properly acquainted with it.

Bra Parrot is interested in political parties’ affairs in this Republic particularly because as a peace loving citizen always loves to see peace and unity in all those political entities because without those important elements the possibility for democratic process to work will be farfetched.

Few weeks back, Chief Sam-Sumana called a press conference, where he made it very clearly that, he will take the matter of his eligibility to the institution responsible for regulating all political parties in the country, the PPRC for it to look into the matter of his qualification to contest for the position of flag-bearer in the APC party.

From what the bird understood, after the presentation of the report to the PPRC, the commission gave a two (2) ultimatum to the APC for its response

It’s reported that the party has responded but unfortunately not the way Chief Sam Sumana had expected. The question is, what is going to be his next step?

According to the sources, the APC has made it position very clear as to what their position is on the matter, something the bird will not like to go deep into it.

The fact of the matter is, if Sam-Sumana accepts the APC’s position, then the matter will automatically ends there, if not according to competent source, the Sam ’28 Movement will be left with no alternative but to go to High Court of Sierra Leone for better interpretation of the Sierra Leone’s Constitution, the All People’s Congress’ party constitution and Hon. Justice Adrian Fisher’s ruling on the APC case years back between him and the party.

The bird contacted few people for their comments on the matter including Lawyers of will over fifteen (15) year standing.

The bird got mixed reactions; some of them explained that there a provision in the APC’s constitution to handle this protracted battle in the party that is to converge an emergency Delegates Conference.

 

The most respected animal will be watching how things are unfolding in the party.
