The wise bird has long noticed that, the practice of civilians putting on Military uniform has been going on for a very long time undressed by those responsible.

This has coursed very serious problem in society today, men and women are putting on Military uniform as if it is a normal way of dressing.

The wise bird has been raising the issue to the authorities concern but no action taken, the issue has now brought very serious embarrassment to the institution by leaking them as armed robbers.

After so many years, the institution has now thought it fit to take action to avoid future embarrassment for the institution.

Very recently, the institution has issued out a notification (press release) informing the general public that, it is an offense for civilians and even police officers to stop putting on military uniform forthwith.

The bird even noticed that, after the press release, civilians are still in the habit of putting military uniform failing to adhere to the instruction given by the Army.

The bird will not even hesitate to say that, civilians putting on Army uniform have little or no respect for the instruction given by the Army, this is more the reason armed robbery is so rampant in every part of the country because the robbers many a time used military uniform to perpetrate their actions.

As usual the bird contacted some members of the public to get their views on the issue of civilians not adhering to military instructions.

About 75-80% expressed dismay over the lethargic attitude of the military not been able to enforce the law to the letter to those who are not members of the institution to stop putting military uniform to the embarrassment of the institution.

They said most of the uniforms the civilians are using mostly come from the military officers themselves and sometime it is sold on the street.

The people however, suggested that all those importing military items apart from the authorized body (Army) should be asked to stop or face arrest.

The question some people were asking is whether the institution (Military) will be able to stop the ugly act by civilian, to stop putting on military uniform and also the importers?

Most of the armed robbers at night are in military uniform to put the people in fear when carrying out their operations.

The wise bird will monitor to see whether the press release will yield any dividend.
