Twenty-years-old, Saidu Kamara, a pupil and Saidu Sipoe a motorbike rider made another appearance before Magistrate Mamakoh Saio Kallon of Pademba road court No.5 in Freetown.
He stood on three count charges which is contrary to the laws of Sierra Leone.
According to the particulars of offense, on Tuesday 19th November 2024, at Last Banking Aberdeen, in the western area in Freetown the suspect conspired with other persons unknown to commit a felony crime.
Count two and three further stated that on the same date and place both accused persons stole one Samsung galaxy mobile phone valued eight thousand Leones(8,000) of East Eastmond Coker.
When the charge was read and explained to the accused persons they pleaded guilty.
The prosecutor Sergeant 9906 Umu Jalloh told the Magistrate that fact as charge no previous criminal records against the accused person.
The accused persons were not legally represented and pleaded with the magistrate to temper justice with mercy on his behalf.
Due to the plea, there was no waste of court time.
Magistrate Kallon sentenced the suspects to 24 months in prison to the Male Correctional facility in Freetown.
