The wise bird has been studying the political situation in the country for decades and came to realization that, government after government has its own way of administration.

Not that the previous APC government did not see the need to set-up a commission of inquiry when they took over governance, but thought setting a commission of enquiry will derail the development process in the country so they let go everything.

But unfortunately when President Maada Bio came to power in 2018 the first thing that came to his mind was to set-up a commission of Inquiry (CIO) which many people especially his opponents will be detrimental to the nation, given the huge cost involve to cover the expenses of foreign judges.

Arguably, the impact of that inquiry is part of current problems in the country including but not limited to the acute economic situation which the population is bearing the brunt.

In fact, before the commencement of that Inquiry, a good number of past officials were already classed as thieves, meaning they were already being indicted for the various offences they allegedly committed while in power.

What beats everybody’s imagination was that even dead people’s names were on the list of those to appear before the commission.

According to what the bird understood, the setting up of the Commission of Inquiry was just a way to victimize former members of the past government.

In fact, the amount of money allegedly spent on that commission of Inquiry should have built the proposed Mamama Airport.

This situation has prompted Parrot to ask what benefit did that commission brought into the country?

From the Parrot’s observations, a good number of those who appeared before the Commission are presently parading the streets of Freetown as free men and women, prompting the bird to start imagining the necessity of that Commission of Inquiry.

Quite recently, the Sierra Leone Football Association (SLFA) held an election which most people referred to as controversial since then, there has been pulling and pushing in that institution.

In fact according records, certain members in that institution were disqualified from taking part in the election.

To make matters worse, immediately the newly elected SLFA President assumed office, he wasted no time but to institute a Transition Committee to look into the activities of the past regime which is against the spirit of unity in the game.

According to the report presented to the new executive, there was a systematic weakness in the past administration that apparently led to its ineffectiveness.

The setting-up of a Transition Committee to investigate the past regime, is like putting salt on a sore which from all indications will not help the situation and the football family.

The Parrot at all times will meet people of sound mind to get their views on important matters in this society.

Like expected, most of the people Bra Parrot met expressed dismay over the authorities setting up of Commission of Inquiries whenever they assume office, considering the fact that it has no benefit or will not solve any problem.
