For involving into gay activities, Police Declares Ibrahim Mansaray wanted
Twenty-years-old Sahr Komba, unemployed individual, on the 1st May 2024, was arrested by the police at the Central Police Station in the office of the Operations Office for allegedly stealing valuable phones.
The accused Sahr Komba is charged on a count of office breaking and larceny contrary to Section 26 (1) of the Larceny Act 1916.
According to the particulars of offence, the accused Sahr Komba on the 1st May 2024, at Operation Officer Minor Office Central Police Station, Freetown, with intent to steal break, he entered into the office of Inspector Augustine Aiah Manga Operations Minor and stole therein 2 Samsung mobile phones A10 , galaxy 12, one manual mobile phone and a cash of nineteen thousand Leones , all to the total value of thirty one thousand two hundred Leones (Nle 31,200 , as property of Augustine Aiah Manga.
When the charge was read and explained to the accused, no plea was taken.
The prosecutor DPC 18235 Thoronka K K sought for a short adjournment date for him to get proper conference with his witness.
Meanwhile, Magistrate Bangura had refused him bail based on the seriousness of the allegation.
The accused was sent to the Male Correctional facility in Freetown matter adjourned to the 3rd June 2024.
