Amara Momoh a masoner made his first appearance before Magistrate Santigie Bangura of Pademba Road Court No.2 in Freetown on a count of Larceny contrary to Section 2 of the Larceny Act 1916.
According to the particulars of offence on Wednesday 18th September 2024 at Law Court building, Siaka Steven Street in the Western Area in Freetown stole one 18000 BTU outdoor Air condition unit value eighteen thousand Leones(18,000) property of the Judiciary of Sierra Leone.
When the charge was read and explained to the accused, he pleaded not guilty.
The prosecutor DPC 18235 Thoronka K.K sought for a short adjournment date for him to get proper conference with his witness.
Meanwhile, Magistrate Bangura granted the accused bail in the sum of twenty thousand Leones with two sureties in like sum sureties must be gainfully employed bail to be approved by the Deputy Assistant Registrar.Matter adjourned to the 9th September 2024.
