Afrimoney, one of the principal mobile money services in the country, has launched the “Kam Join We” Promotion, on Thursday September, 19th 2024 at the Africell HQs Boardroom, at Wilberforce in Freetown.
During his speech, the Chief Executive Officer, Martison Obeng-Agyei, said the objective is to raise attentiveness regarding the benefits of joining the Afrimoney across the country and the initiative is apt, having 7,500 agent’s sales points in the country.
The “Kam Join We” promo campaign is calculated to attract new users by showcasing the exclusive benefits available to Afrimoney customers.
Obeng-Agyei emphasized that many people who are not yet Afrimoney users are missing out on the valuable opportunities Africell is offering to many subscribers in Sierra Leone.
John Konteh, Afrimony Marketing Director, said the campaign focuses on informing customers of the many opportunities they are missing if they don’t join the Afrimoney dream promotion. He stated that the invitation is to treat all customers with the aim at expanding the user base nationwide. He highlights some of key benefits of the promotion campaign, which is a 10% cashback offer for customers who use Afrimoney to buy EDSA electricity units during the first 10 days of each month.
“With this bid, Afrimoney subscribers can save up money of EDSA purchases of energy meters made,” Konteh renowned.
In a similar tread, he said Afrimoney is offering free person-to-person transactions, with no service fees charged, the company said.
“We are the only mobile money operator in Sierra Leone providing free peer-to-peer transactions,” Director John Konteh avowed.
Meanwhile, Afrimoney subscribers are enjoying the most affordable data bundles available in the market.
The “Kam Join We, Ya Betteh” campaign, which runs from September through December, and from November to December, to remember Afrimoney promo and target both current mobile money users and those who have yet to adopt the technology drive.
According to concerns being raised by journalists over the habit of agents charging customers some additional fees for cash-ins, Director John Konteh and other staff of Afrimoney highly condemned such practices as unethical and urged customers to report any incidences of exploitation by dialing the Afrimoney helpline at 100, and customers should dial *161# and follow the instructions keenly.
“Through Afrimoney, you can even register yourself and become a part of the family without needing assistance from anyone,” they reassured.
Afrimoney continues to beef up the campaign; the company is committed to making its services accessible and available to all customers, with a focus on ensuring transparency while giving user benefits with almost care and passion.
