The Managing Director of Rokel Commercial Bank (RCBank), Dr. Walton Ekundayo Gilpin has been described by many concerned Sierra Leoneans in an unplesant manner in a  professional regalia.

According to very reliable sources, Dr. Gilpin recently led ten senior officials of the bank to Liberia for the extension of the bank to that West Afriican country, thereby allegedly expending tens of thousands of United States Dollars at whim.

Sources close to Rokel Commercial Bank say the Managing Director Dr. Gilpin embarked on the extension of the bank to neighbouring Liberia allegedly without the approval of the Board of Directors , the stakeholders, the Ministry of Finance, and the Bank of Sierra Leone (,BSL).

Government sources say the Rokel Commercial Bank doesn’t have the financial muscle to undertake the venture of establishing regionally on shoe strings, noting that the Bio Administration is very much annoyed with Dr. Gilpin for such unrealistic venture, which many concerned citizens have asserted that he initiated the venture out of midiocre popularity to indicate that he is doing an exceptional job in the banking sector.

Some concerned baby workers that spoke to this medium, who preferred not to be named, suggested that Dr. Gilpin should be summarily dismissed for bringing the Government of Sierra Leone (GoSL) into disrupe out of lack of integrity.
