Ibrahim Bangura, a businessman has made another appearance before magistrate John Manso Fornah of Pademba Road Court.
He is charged for collecting some Prohibited Drugs Without Lawful Authority, Contrary to section 7 (b) of the National Drug Control Act.2008 Act, and for possession of drugs without Lawful Authority Contrary to section 8 (a) of the National Drug Control Act 2008 Act No 10 of 2008, for dealing in Prohibited Drugs Without Lawful Authority Contrary to section 7 c of the National Drug Control Act 2008, Act 10 of 2008 and for Selling a Prohibited Drug Without Lawful Authority, Contrary to section 7 c of the National Drug Control Act 2008, Act No.10 of 2008.
When the charges were read and explained to the accused person no plea was taken.
According to the particulars of offence the accused on Wednesday, 3rd January, 2025, at Kissy, Dockyard, Freetown collected some Prohibited Drugs Without Lawful Authority.
Count two revealed that he was found in possession of One Hundred and Six (106) Wraps of Kush Without Lawful Authority.
Count three stated the suspect dealt with prohibited Drugs Without Lawful Authority.
Count four furthered that the suspect was selling Drug Without Lawful Authority.
The prosecutor Assistant Superintendent of Police Isatu Baba Musa closed her case at this stage having led two prosecution witnesses.
Meanwhile, magistrate Fornah revealed that having gone through the entire evidence adduced by the prosecution he was satisfied that had adduced sufficient evidences charged against the accused person.
Therefore, he committed the accused person to stand his trial in the High Court of Sierra Leone.
