Bra Parrot will not say the results were manipulated to avoid an arrest. Agreeing with political observers, the only thing the brave bird will say is that, the results did not reflect the will of the people.

The brave bird is always thinking aloud by way of asking questions, sounding the views of the people, telling the people what is right or wrong for them to be careful in doing what they are doing.

The brave bird is not like other birds that do not talk when it is time to talk about issues of national interest. Bra Parrot is merely asking these questions; because the expectations of the people are more than before, taking into consideration the present ‘bad’ economic situation in the country.

The question is, which direction are we into now? Now that we have a brand new government, is it the same old direction or it is a brand new direction that has now been put in place in the interest of the people of Sierra Leone?

Indeed, the brave bird wants to see a brand new direction where a bag of rice goes down to at least NL200 or less, a bag of onions climbs down to NL100 or less, a bag of sugar reduce to NL150 or less, a bundle of water stick at NL 2 per-bundle, EDSA tariff be sold the same as you buy, and the same to be reflected on transportation fears: from Freetown to Kailahun, Freetown to Kono, Freetown to Port Loko etc.

Prices spiraling down to meet the demand of the people on all other essential commodities are the expectations of the people.

Bra Parrot had been following the activities of the old direction, to say the least, much was not done in the areas of prices of essential commodities. The old direction was unable to control the prices of things. From the look of things, it seemed as if the old direction was without a Ministry of Trade. 

However, the brave bird will be the happiest bird on planet Earth to see that, the prices of essential commodities, be as reasonable as the word itself.

The brave bird only hopes that, the brand new direction will seek the interest of the people in the areas of essential foodstuffs.

Bra Parrot, this time, will not listen to many excuses by way of saying we have inherited a battered economy. Now by saying that the economy is battered, it means the old direction has battered it. They have just governed the nation over the past five years, so no excuses are needed in their second term.

Notwithstanding, the brave bird did vote too, the bird loves the people of Sierra Leone and always wants to see that, the lives of the people are improved.
